located close to the rio Guadalfeo, in a rural area close to Orgiva, 4km distant, and reached for the last kilometre from the main road by a good track to Tablones, a small village en route to Orgiva, a large traditionally built cortijo with nearly two hectares of land. The cortijo in total is of 320 sq.m., of which a little over 100 sq.m. is currently lived in (kitchen, living room, bedroom, and two additional rooms) with the remainder consisting of stables, storerooms and a large walled back yard, and 40 sq.m. outhouse. In front of the cortijo is a front patio and a front yard. The whole builidng is structurally sound, with original beams and roof in good condition, as are the original thick stone walls. There is a solar panel and a 12V system for the house. The land consists of three plots, two adjacent to the house, with abundant irrigation water, and located between two irrigation channels, each with rights of two and a half hours of water per week for the finca. These two plots are each little less than 4,000 sq.m., one with terraces planted with olive and other fruit trees, the other similar but with a third of its area eucalyptus wood. The third, largest plot of land begins about fifty metres north of the cortijo, and extends towards the Guadalfeo (seasonal) river. This plot is nearly 11,000 sq.m. of level, unirrigated land. On one of the two smaller plots is a 4,000 l tank for water for domestic use and irrigation, with a 12V pump. The location is peaceful and rural, with splendid views of the Sierra Nevada to the north. Additional to the main cortijo is a small ( 40 sq.m.) ruin, 20 metres behind the main building. This finca represents exceptional value, the owners being anxious to sell.
