Reached by taking the turning off the main road at Padre Eterno (on the way to Pampaneira)and following the track towards the tourist route for some 15 minutes or so along a track road (which needs attention) the farm is found on the summit. The views are simply breathtaking with the Mediterranean shimmering (even on a winter's afternoon) in the warmth of the sun. The farm has some 60,000 sq m of land approximately with cortijos to restore measuring some estimated 78 sq m, 2 x 50 sq m and 153 sq m. To the side of the farm and going up through the land there is a public footpath which could be used as a road connecting to a lower road at the bottom of the farm thereby affording easy access all around the estate.
The farm has been neglected for many years and therefore needs some quite serious work to restore. There could be abundant orchards of apples, pears, cherries etc. This is also an area where wheat was once grown and indeed the estate has it's own "Era" (now under preservation orders) for threshing. There is a natural spring which could supply plentiful water. Irrigation water is also available from the mountains.
Located within the Parque Natural this particular area is well known for its pine trees, clear air and tranquility. Restoration of the cortijos would be in line with the local style.
